# Installing the email signature

Two versions are included:

- **signature-full.html**: the horizontal logo above your contact details. Use it for new emails.
- **signature-compact.html**: the monogram tile beside your details. Use it for replies and on phones.
- **signature.txt**: a plain-text version for apps that don't accept HTML.

Before installing, open the file in a text editor and replace `[Your Name]`, `[Title]` and
`[you@example.com]` (it appears twice in the full version).

The logo images load from `https://www.cornerstonelandtx.com/brand-kit/email/`. Don't move or
rename those files on the website, or every signature already sent loses its logo.
Gmail and Outlook don't display SVG, so the signatures use PNGs exported at 2x for sharp
display on retina screens.

## Gmail
1. Open `signature-full.html` in Chrome (double-click the file).
2. Press Ctrl/Cmd+A, then Ctrl/Cmd+C.
3. Go to Gmail → Settings → See all settings → General → Signature → Create new.
4. Paste into the signature box, then click **Save Changes** at the bottom of the page.

## Outlook (desktop or web)
1. Open the HTML file in a browser, select all and copy.
2. Go to Outlook → Settings → Mail → Compose and reply → Email signature.
3. Create a new signature, paste it in and save. Set it as the default for new messages.

## Apple Mail
1. Open the HTML file in Safari, select all and copy.
2. Go to Mail → Settings → Signatures, add a signature and paste it in.
3. Untick **Always match my default message font** so the styling is kept.

## iPhone Mail
iPhone Mail settings strip HTML. Use the text version, or email yourself the full
signature from a desktop, then copy and paste it from that message into
Settings → Mail → Signature.
